B&R SafeLOGIC controllers handle all central tasks within a safety-related application. Three different functional areas exist here. The configuration management system monitors the entire safety-related configuration of the application. When replacements are needed, the parameter management system makes sure that newly installed modules are assigned correct parameters that apply to the application. Lastly, SafeLOGIC handles the actual safety-related execution of the application program.
