By doing this, they defend against hazards which could cause injury to personnel and damage to machinery. Single function relays manage one specific function, while multi-function relays can oversee different activities. Safety relays can also be connected to each other. They are often used in industrial environments such as factories, as part of a safety control circuit for dangerous machines. Typical applications include: safety mats, emergency stop push-buttons, light curtains, and magnetic switches. Rockwell Automation offer high-quality, reliable safety relays which give exceptional performance and ensure maximum protection and productivity.
